So how tough are you? Keith is a 16 year old lobster fisherman from Maine who I went fishing with that has hands so tough that he can stick hooks in his fingertips. Thats pretty tough.
And he didn't hook himself by accident. He did it on purpose--stuck it in his finger to hold onto it for a few minutes while we were getting lines ready! Great time fishing with Jake. I had never picked up a fly rod in my life and he made it fun and easy. By the end of the day, I could cast and even caught the biggest fish of the day a 22 inch rainbow. BTW, Keith's out on his lobster boat this morning hauling his first string of traps for the season. Wonder what his fingers will look like by the end of the lobster season.
